    Capra has just switched from the place - and - send method of dock diving to targeting his toy. With less than 2 weeks of this method under his belt, his performance was more variable than with his prior method, but he got one jump which was 22'6" -- almost 2 feet more than his prior personal best!     Unfortunately, breeding isn't for the faint of heart. There are many causes of puppy loss - from trauma to infection to everything in between. Puppy loss is most common close to birth and is much less common once the puppies are over 3 weeks old. In this litter, we have lost 3 of the initial 8 puppies.     Flo's litter has 2 black males, 1 liver male (none of the males are patched), 1 patched black female, and 3 unpatched black females. Please note that colors are always estimated (except on patched dogs) until the spotting comes in, as we have to estimate by nose color. They are pictured here at 3 days old.
