Mia is definitely in whelp, and the puppies should arrive with the New Year. That means the go-home date would be end of February/early March for those making travel plans. If you're coming to the Dalmatian Organization of Houston's annual Specialty show on March 1st, it's perfect timing.
Echo (Ch Robbsdale's Repeat After Me RN DJ CGC) a member of the Capra x Flo litter at Robbsdale Dalmatians, is turning out beautifully - like a lovely feminine version of Capra, if I do say so myself. She finished her Champion title at only 8 months old, and has already started earning performance titles in Rally-Obedience and Dock Diving, plus her Canine Good Citizen title. Echo and her owner Crystal Ryle are planning to try for a Grand Championship title next year.
Every show/breeding dog should get health tests. The eyes should get repeated screening to check for congenital problems (those present at birth) and acquired problems (developed with age). Capra and Mia went to Eye Care For Animals and both got "Normal" eye clearance results today. That's the last test for Mia's CHIC number. Capra and Taai Taai have both previously tested normal.
