Scampi is available to a Deaf-friendly home

Scampi is 9 months old, born in August 2023 as part of the YesYesYes litter. She is deaf and looking for the right forever family. She can feel vibrations and hear a few sounds but she cannot hear normal speaking voices and should be trained and managed as a deaf dog. Deaf families or families with experience with Deaf people or pets are preferred. 

Scampi is a black-spotted LUA Dalmatian with a sweet, gentle temperament. She gets along well with other dogs; she lives with dogs, cats, and older children at present. She is house trained and crate trained, although she doesn't love to run into her kennel. She doesn't have a specific signal to go outside (like scratching at a door) because she has always just gone out with the other dogs. She has taken some basic puppy obedience classes and is ready to move to a home where she can be the center of attention as she grows into adulthood.

While Scampi does well with other dogs, she cannot hear growling or most dog or cat vocalizations, so she would do best with calm, friendly housemates. She responds well to training and could do performance events with the right owner.
