Taai-Taai (Meadow Brook's The Matinee Idol of Robbsdale) got his second major win today, for another 4 points. An AKC champion of record title requires 2 majors wins and a total of 15 points, under multiple judges. Taai-Taai, in 3 weekends of competition, has both his majors and a total of 11 points toward his champion title.

Capra and I used the holiday to start more serious work on maintaining hock position while mounted. Since we socialized him as a puppy, he’s not concerned about the horse, and moves along very wel. Only 3 months until competition!

Taai-Taai is on a roll. Both shows this weekend he got Best of Breed and is now nearly halfway to his championship in only 2 weekends of showing. More importantly, when prospective pet owners came to visit the dogs, he was his usual sweet, poised, well-behaved self -- a great ambassador of the breed.

Taai-Taai got a big win his first weekend out! He just turned six months old about 10 days before the Phoenix Specialty. In the open show the day after the specialties, he won Winner's Dog against 8 class dogs for a 5 point major. We are super grateful to Sara Seitz of Zoroastrian Dalmatians for loving and hosting our beloved boy. Many thanks also to Jacqueline Sharp for trying her hand at her first AKC show, handling him to such a big win!
