Dock Dive Distance!

Capra has just switched from the place - and - send method of dock diving to targeting his toy.

With less than 2 weeks of this method under his belt, his performance was more variable than with his prior method, but he got one jump which was 22'6" -- almost 2 feet more than his prior personal best! Wow, Capra, way to go!

As you can see, he used to jump pretty much straight off the dock, as the toy was already in the water. Now he jumps with an upward lift, targeting the toy in the air. This higher trajectory, once we get to better speed, will result in reliably longer jump distances.
